Video tutorials

To discover how BOTA-IS works, we recommend starting with the video tutorials.

Three videos introduce the main steps of the workflow:

These tutorials present the recommended workflow for preparing, organising and managing an Index Seminum in Botalista.

Prerequisites

To use the features presented in these tutorials, the user must have:

• at minimum, read access to BOTA-ACQ;
• write access to BOTA-LOT;
• write access to BOTA-IS.

User roles and permissions are described in the BOTA-USR documentation.

Module principles

BOTA-IS is used to centralise the preparation, publication and management of Index Seminum within Botalista.

The module can be used to:

• prepare an Index Seminum using data available in Botalista;
• select and organise the seed lots to be offered;
• structure the Index Seminum using groups;
• produce and publish an Index Seminum;
• manage orders related to an Index Seminum.

BOTA-IS is therefore integrated into Botalista's seed management workflow, reusing information already managed in the BOTA-ACQ and BOTA-LOT modules.
