BOTA-IS : Index seminum Management
In Botalista.Software (BLS), the BOTA-IS module manages the Index Seminum workflow, from the selection and organisation of seed lots to the publication of the Index Seminum and the management of orders.
It relies in particular on information from acquisitions (BOTA-ACQ) and seed lots (BOTA-LOT).

Prerequisites
To use the features presented in these tutorials, the user must have:
- at minimum, read access to BOTA-ACQ;
- write access to BOTA-LOT;
- write access to BOTA-IS.
User roles and permissions are described in the BOTA-USR documentation.
Module principles
BOTA-IS is used to centralise the preparation, publication and management of Index Seminum within Botalista.
The module can be used to:
- prepare an Index Seminum using data available in Botalista;
- select and organise the seed lots to be offered;
- structure the Index Seminum using groups;
- produce and publish an Index Seminum;
- manage orders related to an Index Seminum.
BOTA-IS is therefore integrated into Botalista's seed management workflow, reusing information already managed in the BOTA-ACQ and BOTA-LOT modules.
